Glentress…oh yessss!
Sunday, May 30th, 2010Just back from an awesome session on Glentress with Mrs. Boardmad who convinced me that we should put our afternoon’s grommet-free time to better use than some good food and sitting in a dark room watching SitC2 (over my dead body)
Hired a couple of Kona Caldera hardtails and hit the trails…spent the first half hour or so getting warmed up, getting used to the bikes (which looked brand new!) and shaking off some of the rust then went off into the woods for some fun. Weather not up to BBC’s random forecasting efforts but a bit of rain never hurts and we were getting dirty and sweaty anyway.
The day finished with Mrs. B. heading for the Hub cafe and I had one last hoon down some red/blacks through the trees…heart pounding and thighs aching I appeared at the bottom of the hill some time later tired but very very happy. Think I might have started something…where’s that bike catalogue?
